Why is my effective fee higher on cheap items?

Two of the fees are flat: the $0.20 listing fee and the fixed part of payment processing ($0.25 in the US). On a $6 item those two alone are 7.5% of the price before any percentage fees. On a $60 item they're 0.75%. The math simply favors higher-priced listings.

How does the "Price for a profit" tab work?

Fees are mostly percentages of your price, so raising your price also raises the fees โ€” you can't just add them on top. The calculator solves the equation properly: price = (target profit + costs + fixed fees) รท (1 โˆ’ total percentage rate), handles the $100 Offsite Ads cap, and rounds up to the next cent so you never land a fraction under your goal.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Every calculation runs in your browser. Nothing you type leaves your device โ€” there's no server, no account, no tracking of your numbers.
